ARI Live Courses institutes the following Policies to support a positive course experience for faculty and students. All participants in ARI Live Courses must read and abide by these Policies. ARI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change or modify these Policies at any time, or to introduce new Policies.
We maintain this policy of confidentiality 1) to provide a venue in which you and your fellow participants can be comfortable engaging in discussion, asking all manner of questions and being completely open about your level of understanding and view of the topics under discussion; and 2) to protect proprietary course materials from being available externally to the course.
We expect all participants to adhere to this Code of Conduct in order to ensure 1) respect for all those taking, providing, or supporting the courses, and; 2) that those submitting assignments maintain the highest level of commitment to scholastic integrity.
Participants may take a course as a graded student or may audit the course without receiving a grade.This document details our expectations and policies for graded students. (Those receiving a Student Discount must take courses for grades unless you have been granted an exception.)
The live classes of ARI Live Courses are recorded for various purposes, including the possibility of re-use of the recordings in future courses. By participating in ARI Live Courses, you therefore grant ARI the right to record all classes in which you are participating and to use those recordings and images from those recordings as needed.
The ARI Live Courses Student Discount represents an investment by ARI in an individual who has demonstrated a serious interest in studying Ayn Rand’s ideas and the potential to meet the scholastic and conduct expectations ARI sets for Student Discount recipients. The purpose of this agreement is to communicate those expectations and the conditions a Student Discount recipient must adhere to in order to maintain their Student Discount.
